Free Burma!

Filed under: Doodles, Blabs and Rants — Tags: , — didee @ 6:38 pm

If we can’t extend our hands to help, let’s extend our prayers for peace and justice to finally reign in Burma.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

Buddhist monk prays at the Shwedagon Pagoda, the holiest shrine in Myanmar, before joining other monks in an anti-government march to the city center of Yangon

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

Buddhist monks light candles as they protest against repression in Myanmar in central Barcelona.

He leads me beside quiet waters

Monks start an anti-government march at the Shwedagon Pagoda

He restores my soul.

monks, activists and students marched to the embassy at Myanmar

He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

it is FAITH not religion bridges the gap between hopelessness and hope

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

i will fear no evil,

armed soldiers stand guard behind a barricade as onlookers watch two Buddhist monks chant prayers in Yangon

for you are with me.

It is not just an issue of national concern, but a call for humanity regardless of race to do its part.

your rod and your staff ,they comfort me

Buddhist monks staged protest marches in at least two cities, including Yangon and Sittwe, in Myanmar

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Psalm 23
