Know the rules and know when to break them
~*~**~*~
random thoughts:
There will always come a time in a person’s life when he or she has to take sides. As much as one would want to stay neutral, and stand rooted in the middle ground; the time to choose is inevitable.
There will also come a time in a person’s life when he or she would have to break some rules. Rules set by dogma, and some rules which he set upon himself.
And sometimes, yes sometimes, it feels so damn great to break the rules. Especially those which we set upon our selves.
Sometimes, being proven wrong holds the magic on how life reveals it’s wonderful surprises.

Some rules I heard that needs breaking :
Don’t Trust
Don’t Believe
Don’t Hope
Never Fall in Love
(… and the greatest of all is Love.)

i personally do not believe in staying neutral. life is about making choices. some people may argue that staying in the middle is a choice. i think, people without balls invented the ‘middle ground.’ haha. i mean, is it at all possible to be in the middle between good and evil, friend and foe? of course, that’s just me. =)
love the picture, didee! and as always, nice thoughts. =)

Thanks Teacher Ai,
I so agree… i’d rather be hated because of what I stand for , rather than be liked because I can not make a decision on which side I am on.

i used to be a rule-abiding citizen until i realized that you know, life’s too short to be following some silly things made up by some bored individual. haha. of course, there are just some that you have to follow, no questions asked. like, don’t drink and drive.

aaahhh! rules are meant to be broken like promises. (bitter! LOL) principles can be bent if it doesn’t suit the situation.
if there’s one thing i learned, not all “right” things are “good” and not all “good” things are “right”

BITTER! hahahaha.. joke lang. you are not bitter, you are BETTER (haha line ko yan before).
Agree, (some) rules (and it’s cohorts) are not written in stones. We can bend them, and break them. We just have to have the wisdom to know when to do it.
