My 5 Top Krimenals

Filed under: Doodles, Blabs and Rants — Tags: , — didee @ 6:53 pm

No, I didn’t misspell the last word. If your from Cebu like me, it’s different when you say krimenal rather than the usual criminal. “Kriminal kang dako!” is just among my fond expressions. Usually this one goes with a friendly and affectionate slap in the arm.

But with my Top 5 Krimenals for this post, i am not at all friendly nor affectionate with them. These are the people who I think the world can do without. Some bloggers posted celebrities whom they thought are just a waste of TV space, some even included the infamous Malu Fernandez.

But my version would be true blue criminals who deserved a day in court, and if possible a life behind bars.

My most hated offenders are those that committed/will commit the following types of crimes :

Top 5. Kidnapping

Especially those who kill their victims. Sad to admit, but my country has a high record of kidnapping, but the authorities are already acting on this. Perhaps this was bought by the very big gap between the rich and the poor. Ang mga datu grabe ka datu, ang pobre grabe ka pobre. Pero dili man sad sala ang madatu. Unya wala man sad ka gi handpick sa Ginoo arun mapobre. (The rich are overly rich, and the poor are desperately poor. But it’s not a crime to be born rich. Nor is one handpicked by heaven to be born poor). Poverty is the overly used (and abused) reason given by people who commit this. Pero patyon jud diay? Inyo kunong anak patyon beh lalim bah? (But do they have to kill the victims? How about if their own children get kidnapped and killed?) Ay ambot!

Top 4. Hate Crimes

These are crimes committed out of discrimination. People have been bludgeoned and killed because of the color of their skin, their sexual preference, their political and religious affiliations. These are bias motivated crimes. These people are narrow minded jerks who can’t , WON’T, accept other preferences aside from their own. It usually occurs in western countries like the US, where discrimination is still prevalent. Genocides are the biggest example of these.

Top 3. Sex Crimes

Rapists, maniacs, exhibitionists…… grrrr! How many times have I ridden a jeepney with a dirty horny man seated next to me? Countless. Especially when I was in highschool, our school uniform is jumper type. I’m sitting there, minding my own business, hoping and praying that I won’t get late for my first class. And before you know it, this man is “rubbing” his elbow at my side near my breasts! Kanang ikiskis jud ang siko sa kilid dapit sa boobs! Yati! And when I look at him, he’s eyes are glued to his already exposed poor-excuse-for-a-penis and he’s jacking it with only a bag or a newspaper for a covering! Kalami putlon!!!!! The first time it happened to me, I was practically frozen. I transferred seats with my whole body trembling and this really big urge to puke! One time I told the man after moving to the other side of the jeepney, “Katiguwang na nimo noy wala ka mauwaw!” (“Aren’t you ashamed of what you’re doing?”).

Others have different tactics, they would “innocently” touch your knees, or i you’re wearing shorts, your legs. Oh I sooo hate these type of people!

Top 2. Terrorism

Although in a way this is a type of hate crime, but it deserves a special place in my list. September 11? Osama? Subway bombing? Ring a bell? I just don’t see the point of why you have to kill hundreds to thousands of lives, for the sake of what ? I understand (some) the NPA’s in my country, why they have to go to the mountains and live where no government will rule over them. I understand, or rather choose to understand, when it’s about principles. Although again it’s an abused reason. Some chose to follow twisted idealism. I’ve had my share of going to the streets and raising a mighty fist (errrr not that high of a raise cause I’m really not that tall, lagi potot na ko! LOL) in the air, shouting “Makibaka, Wag matakot!” or “Erap Resign!” or “Diktador! Pasista!“. I’ve stopped being a part of that, but it doesn’t mean I’m no longer patriotic. Mahal kita Inang Bayan!(Naks!) I love my motherland.

It was last year that the news came out that the new leader, or one of the leaders, of a terrorist group in the Pinas is a former schoolmate. He was younger than me. I don’t know what drove him, and the rest of his comrades, to bomb planes, trains, buses, buildings; I don’t think I’ll ever understand.

Lami kaayo gitlan ang liug nya butangan ug lemonsito!

Top 1. Child Abuse

Pedophiles, molesters, emotional and physical abusers! Harsh! Pick someone you’re own size you sicko! I’ve worked with abused kids in the past and your heart would just break for them, and they would earn your respect with how they would fight their past. Those who get their fix from children, and make them a parausan, is more than enough reason for their little thingy which hangs between their legs to be cut out and be fed to the dogs.

Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

Oh and I have some runner ups also, and these includes:

(i) snatchers – (hehehe hi ate jan!) lupigan pa ang magician sa kapaspas sa kamot.

(ii) drug pushers – hehehe save the user, jail the pushers.

haaaay.. this post is giving me a headache. Krimenal!!

And just this afternoon, a bomb exploded at Glorietta Mall in Makati. My prayers went out to the victims of this heartless act.

To the perpetrators… MAY YOU ROT IN HELL COWARDS!
